MCP plc PURCHASES STAKE IN WORLDWIDEFREIGHT.WEB.COM
27th June 2007Maritime Cargo Processing (MCP Plc) the Felixstowe based designer of the UK ports leading community system Destin8 (formerly FCPS) has recently purchased a 15% stake in fledgling online directory and advertising company Worldwide Freight Limited.
Worldwidefreight.web.com is an innovative and easy to use, cost effective on line advertising, news and tendering web site aimed at the freight, shipping and logistics industry. It is designed to help anyone looking to find a freight partner to easily identify a suitable supplier. Launched recently, the web site has already attracted a number of high profile companies in the UK and overseas to advertise on it.
MCP, who enjoys relationships with many of the industries largest companies and major ports, will bring their considerable resource and expertise to bear on this project and assist in the ongoing sales and marketing campaign.
