SUCCESS WITH ANOTHER PROJECT MANAGED BY RAGGED EDGE
1st April 2008Ragged Edge Consulting Limited concluded another successful project at the end of March 2008.
Port owner and operator New Holland Bulk Services (NHBS) first approached us in 2004, and asked us to write for them a 5-year strategic business plan.
Working closely with the management of the company this was duly completed, and presented to the parent Board.
The business plan identified the very specific requirement to increase storage capacity on site and we were successful in making the commercial and financial case for the development of a new purpose built 7,500sqm dry bulk store to aid the future growth of NHBS business.
We have subsequently successfully project managed the development and build phase, including land acquisition, contractor/developer tender, planning, and day-to-day project management.
The warehouse is now fully operational, and already filling fast with a range of dry bulk products imported over the quay at New Holland for clients around the UK.
This is the latest in a number of asset based infrastructure developments that Ragged Edge have managed for clients.
