It was an incredibly proud night for the team at Ragged Edge at this year’s 2018 Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards as they scooped runners-up in the Grimsby Carpet Warehouse Small Business of the Year Award.  Much to their surprise on the night they also collected a runners-up certificate in the  ABP Business Growth Award.

Held annually, the event is a celebration of the very best of Northern Lincolnshire’s businesses and their contribution to the region’s economy.  Staged at the Grimsby Auditorium, this year’s theme was ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with over 400 guests treated to performances from the classic fairytale by students from The Grimsby Institute as well as professionals from the West End theatre adaptation.

On receiving the awards from TV presenter and journalist Helen Fospero, Ragged Edge’s Justin Atkin said, “There are no runners-up here tonight, everyone of these businesses is a winner.  I’m incredibly proud of the team at Ragged who have worked so hard over the last 12 months to help to grow the business whilst still delivering the very highest levels of service and customer care.  We are grateful to our clients who continue to trust us to support their businesses with recruitment, training and consultancy solutions”.

Speaking about the event he said, “This evening has been a celebration of the drive and tenacity of businesses in this region and it’s terribly exciting to be part of the positive things happening around the Humber.  We will now focus on 12 months ahead as we seek to continue to grow both regionally and nationally and to introduce new services that add value to our clients.”
