Supply chain and logistics recruitment specialists Ragged Edge has continued its support of grass roots sports by sponsoring the Year-8 Netball team at Caistor Grammar School.

Based in Barton-upon-Humber but working with clients across the UK and Europe, Ragged Edge has been providing interim and permanent recruitment solutions across the sector including ports, shipping, transport and warehousing for more than 19 years.

Following its recent support of Barton & District Rugby Football Club, this latest sponsorship has enabled the Caistor Grammar School to purchase a new netball kit for the team (pictured) which was worn for the first time during a national tournament in Staffordshire which took place in March.

Speaking of their support for the Year-8 team Ragged’s Justin Atkin said, “The Commonwealth Gold success for England Netball has led to a significant growth in the sport at grass roots level. Participating in sport of any type has so many positive benefits, not just for physical and mental health, but also in helping to develop team skills and self-confidence.  At Ragged Edge we believe in investing in the communities in which we work and we are therefore delighted to be able to support the Year 8 team at Caistor Grammar School”.
