Ragged Edge has been short listed for ‘Small Business of the Year’ at the 2018 Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards.

The annual event run by the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce features the very best of the region’s businesses as they compete across a range of different award categories.

The Barton-upon-Humber based recruitment, training and consultancy business is amongst three companies shortlisted in the Small Business of the Year category sponsored by Grimsby Carpet Warehouse.  Applicants were required to demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm in the running of the business and to have set themselves on the road to achieving clearly laid out goals for future growth and success.  The judging panel referenced turnover, client base, client value, diversity of products and services, and development amongst the shortlisting criteria.

When asked about the nomination Director, Justin Atkin commented, “We are really proud to have been selected by the judging panel.  We have a small but dedicated team who work really hard to provide our valued clients with exceptional customer service and solutions that meet their business needs. So it’s down to our staff and our customers that we’ve progressed this far and I’d be so pleased if we could win the award for them.” he added.
